Mike Lantz, an architectural draftsman at Boone Homes, plays a crucial role in the design and construction process. Working closely with Architects, Engineers, and the Sales team, Mike is responsible for drafting permit drawings for all design and construction phases. Additionally, he serves as a key point of contact for homeowners, gathering essential service information for their service and warranty needs. This information is then relayed to the service and warranty manager, who schedules the necessary work. Throughout the service period, Mike continues to assist the service and warranty manager by facilitating communication between homeowners and subcontractors as required. His role ensures a seamless experience for Boone Homes' homeowners throughout the construction and service process. Mike has worked for Boone Homes for a total of 12 years, with two separate periods of employment from 2004 to 2010 and from 2017 to present.

What is the most rewarding part about your position?
Watching a ‘home community development’ take place, from project inception to project completion. And being part of it is greatly rewarding.
What is your favorite part about working for Boone Homes?
Small company atmosphere, with big time work!
How do you spend your free time outside of the office?
Spend as much time with my wife of 39 years, and our 4 adult children from ages 33 down to 22.

Watching everyone having fun, and recalling all of the good memories from the past holidays.
Favorite Travel Destination?
Right now - My WV home town, and the house I grew up in – Ridgeley, WV. (Visiting my 84 year old Father)
Tell us something that people might not know about you.
I still enjoy roller skating, but with no tricks anymore.
I will play tennis, with anyone who can play.
I will sing Karaoke, if there is a good crowd
