Richmond neighborhoodsRichmond has been the sight of many films throughout Hollywood and there is a reason for its popularity, historic preservation. Over the year the Historic Richmond Foundation has managed to save and rehab several of Richmond’s historic buildings making it a beautiful shooting location for film and television. From Hannibal to the current Best Picture nominee, Lincoln, many producers have chosen to shoot big budget films near Richmond neighborhoods. This Thursday, January 31, 2013, the Historic Richmond Foundation invites Richmond residents to learn more about Hollywood in Richmond by attending “Walk in the Footsteps of Spielberg and Lincoln.”
