Presented by the Home Building Association of Richmond, the annual Richmond Homearama is being held May 1 through 18 this year. This popular home tour features seven new idea homes that showcase the very latest in home construction, design and technological innovations. Hosted at Magnolia Green in Chesterfield County, each home in the Homearama has been furnished by regional interior design teams, including the couple behind the popular Young House Love blog.
The homes will be available for touring each Thursday through Sunday from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Attendees can also view more than 30 unique products that will be on display in the Home Idea Center. In addition, fun events will be held at the Homearama every Saturday from noon until 4 p.m.
- May 3 and 4: Beer and Bluegrass Weekend – There will be live bluegrass music, a beer truck and stagecoach rides presented by Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.
- May 10 and 11: Wine and Jazz Weekend – Enjoy live music with free wine tastings and sales by the glass.
- May 17 and 18: Family Fun Weekend – Kids can enjoy free Kona ice, bounce houses, Jonathan the Juggler and much more.
