Local wineries are celebrating the fall harvest and invite residents of nearby Richmond new homes to join them for the Harvest Wine Festival at James River Cellars this Saturday, September 7. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., attendees will enjoy sipping on a variety of local wines and unique beers, dining on delicious food and listening to fantastic music.
Celebrating its eighth year, the Harvest Wine Festival has become a popular event for individuals looking to explore local Virginia wineries and learn more about the process of winemaking. In addition to wine tastings, food trucks including Boka, Dressed and Pressed and Monique’s Crepes will be on hand to provide a variety of tasty treats. As with every event at James River Cellars, you are allowed to bring a picnic to enjoy with your wine. Additionally, those interested in the art of winemaking will enjoy the wine 101 seminars and tours.
Entertainment at the Harvest Wine Festival will be provided by The Taters. Their eclectic mix of pop, country, rock and more will have everyone dancing. Tickets for the Harvest Wine Festival are $15 per person and the event will be held rain or shine.
