Mama — a word uttered from the mouth of a beautiful little child holding tightly to his mother’s hand. One single word has so much meaning, because to be a mom means to have given life, and most importantly to have loved and nurtured that life. Whether you are five and making mom breakfast in bed, or you are an adult who thanks mom for helping you become the person you are today, the love is the same – it fills your heart. What will you do for the amazing mom in your life this Mother’s day?
Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens is having a Mother’s Day Concert. The concert is free with paid admission. Brunch is available in the Robins Tea House 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Garden admission and reservations are required. Lewis Ginter has a variety of options to help you treat mom like the royalty she is on her special day.
However, there are also more things going on around town. How about Mother’s Day at James River Cellars? Bring Mom out for a very special brunch pairing of Strawberry Shortcake and Wine! Enjoy the afternoon on our shaded patio or overlook the vineyards while sitting on the balcony. Whatever you decide, it’s sure to be perfect because we all know the most important thing to mom is the fact that you remembered her.
Both the botanical gardens and James River Cellars are less than 30 minutes from Westcott at Grey Oaks, ensuring that residents of the luxury estate community have their choices of places to surprise mom on Mother’s Day.
All of us at Boone Homes want to wish our mothers, and all the special ladies in our lives a very “Happy Mother’s Day.” We appreciate all you do more than words could ever express!
